Elements and Language to use in your blog

The more elements you may put on your blogs, the higher the points. You can add picture or short article and invite others to comments on them. Add polls for your groupmates or any reader to vote, slideshows, videos, etc. add the URL of your classmates group, as well as links to sites you want us to see.

Another thing, use formal language, correct spelling and grammar. Use your blog as an educational sites where others can learn. So definitely, no "text" spelling or grammar here.

How to Create a New Post with Picture

Create a new post

1. Click new post.

2. Type the Title and label for post (just like your subject in your email.)

3. Click on the body and type your article.

4. To Insert a picture, click the icon for Add Image.

5. Browse the location of the file and attach.

6. Choose the position and the size for your picture.

7. Click “I accept terms…”

8. Click upload and wait until it is successfully uploaded.

9. Complete your post.

10. Click Publish Post.

11. Click View Blog.

INSTRUCTIONS IN CREATING A BLOG

  1. Sign in to http://www.blogger.com/ using your gmail account. ONLY ONE for each group.
  2. Click SIGN IN
  3. Follow the directions:
    a. write a DISPLAY NAME- this is the TITLE OF YOUR BLOG OR BLOGNAME or your mini-website
    b. click I accept terms of service after reading
    c. click CONTINUE
  4. Name your Blog
    a. give a TITLE OF YOUR BLOG OR BLOGNAME (use same as display name)
    b. type the blog address or URL in the box http:// ______________.blogspot.com
    format is edtekkers-groupname. e.g. edtekkers-cyberz
    c. click continue
  5. Choose a template
    - this the style of the page of your blog
    - you can click preview template if you want to see how it looks
  6. Your blog has been created. click START BLOGGING
  7. First edit your settings by checking on SETTINGS tab
    a. write a description of your blog. example: The expression of the Edtekkers of PSCA for the learnings and experience in Edtech 1 and 2.
    BUT PLEASE MAKE IT ORIGINAL AND CATCHY. leave the rest of the question as suggested, whether yes or no. just be sure that in "adult content" it is answered NO. Click Save Settings.
  8. Second, click on lay-out.
    a. in page elements - you will see arrangement of your page. click SAVE
    b. you can click on add gagget to add pictures, slideshow, video. etc. from your computer, usb or the web. another add a gadget. click SAVE
    c. click edit in About Me to present your groupmates - you can add TITLE, in description add groupmates name, accomplish the rest. click SAVE.
    d. you can also change fonts and color by clicking the tab.
    with the rest explore.
  9. Click View Blog to see how it looks
  10. start posting by clicking NEW POST next to your email name on the upper right hand corner of the page.
